Himebauch, 63, former Charlevoix resident, died Sunday, Feb. 21, at his Little Traverse Township home in Emmet County. Funeral services were scheduled at First Baptist Church in Charlevoix on Wednesday, Feb. 24 with the Rev. James Sweet of Main Street Baptist Church of Harbor Springs and the Rev. Thomas Black of First Baptist Church of Charlevoix officiating. Interment is in Barnard Cemetery. Born in Marion Township on Jan. 25, 1925, the son of Wilbur and Dolly (Eastcott) Himebauch attended Phelps School. He married Mildred Potter on Dec. 8. 1944, in Marion Township. Mr. Himebauch operated a dairy farm in Marion Township until 1976. At that time he moved to Little Traverse Township to join his son, Samuel A. Himebauch, in operation of a dairy farm. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Harbor Springs, Michigan Milk Producers Association and Charlevoix County Farm Bureau and was a former township official in Norwood and Marion Townships. He is survived by his wife; son, Samuel A. of Harbor Springs; three daughters, Cathy Boyanski of Brownsville, N.Y., Diane Wojan and Linda Matchett, both of Charlevoix; eight grandchildren; brother, Clarence of Charlevoix and three sisters, Florence Elliott of Dallas, Texas, Lucille Maxian of Chicago and Lucy LaCroix of Grand Ledge. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth and a sister Alice.
