Funeral services were held at the Barnard Methodist church Monday with the Rev. Robert Moore of East Jordan officiating. Burial was in the Barnard Cemetery. The body was at the Pontius Chapel until the hour of the funeral. Mr. Potter was born in Banks township, Antrim county on Aug. 14. 1894, and came to Marion township with his family at the age of two years. He was married to Julia F. Cork in 1917 in Charlevoix and they continued to make their home in Marion township. He was a member of the Barnard Methodist church. Besides his wife, Julia, he is survived by two sons, Allan of Banks township and David at home; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Wilber of Grand Blanc, Mrs Geneva Throop of Kamiah, Ida. and Mrs. Anna Jeltema of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren four brothers, Henry, Richard John and Hirm of Charlevoix and two sisters, Mrs. Libby Brock of East Jordan and Mrs. Mary Klooster of Charlevoix.
