Niles P. Anderson
Died  August 18, 1886
Aged 36 yrs



Born near Copenhagen, Denmark March 29, 1850
He came to the United States in 1868
He was married in 1872 to Miss Elinor Bingham (Nellie) of Columbus, Wisconsin
and thereupon moved to Dearborn, Michigan.  Five years ago he moved
to Marion Twp, Charlevoix County where he continued to
reside up to the time of his death.  He was an intelligent and well-read man.
He had two daughters, Edna Anderson born August 1, 1881 in Charlevoix, Michigan,
married Arthur G. Abbott Sept. 20, 1899 at Hart, Oceana, Michigan. Edna died
June 18, 1948, Muskegon, Michigan, age 66, a widow.   
Hattie Anderson born 1876.  Died in Marion Township, Charlevoix County September
28, 1895 of tuberculosis         
Niles was murdered by his neighbor, Thomas H. Smith, age 56.
