Marantha Jackway was born 
Aug. 5, 1836 in Palmyra, Wayne County, New York
Father: Calvin Perin Jackway (1806 - 1888)
Mother: Eunice Augusta Smith Jackway (1811 - 1887)
Wife of William Allis Atchinson (1837-1911)
Mother of  William and Helen.
Marantha Died Sep. 30, 1865,Saint James, Charlevoix County, Michigan


After the death of  Malantha, William later married and went to California and
died May 29, 1911 in Los Angeles, California at age 73.  He is buried in the Los
Angeles National Cemetery - Gravesite 20-C-9.  
He was in the Civil War,  Union, 22nd Regiment, Michigan Infantry.
He married Louisa Thompson in 1866, she was born April 12, 1844 in Des Moines,
Iowa and died January 28, 1907, at age 61, in Los Angeles, California.  
Louisa Thompson is the daughter of Medad Thompson (1800 - 1886) and Phebe
Burnham Hobart (1809 - 1893).  Louisa is buried in Westwood Memorial Park, Los
Angeles, California
