Bandfield Capt. US Army World War II June 11, 1919 - November 18, 2001 Arlo Crail Banfield, Sr. maried Anne Campbell Arlo Crail "Curly" Bandfield, Sr. of Charlevoix, passed away November 18, 2001 in Henderson, Nevada. He was born June 11, 1919, in waterloo, Iowa. He was a captain in the U.S. army Signal Corps during World War II and served in the Pacific. Curly is survived by his wife, the former Ann Campbell of Charlevoix and Henderson, Nevada:; also two brothers Harold and Robert and two sisters, Betty and Mary, all living in Iowa. He is also survived by three children, Sheri, Kathi and Bud; four stepchildren, Barbara, Carolyn, Nancy and Bill; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. September 13 at Brookside Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Nancy Rohde of The First Congregational Church. Following the service, all his friends are invited to celebrate Curly's life at the Campbell home, located at 115 Pine River Land (the second house past the Weathervane Restaurant).
