CLARE L. BEATTIE, 73, 1116 Elkhart Circle, Tavares, died Friday. Born in
Charlevoix, Mich., he moved to Tavares from Waynesboro, Va., in 1973. He was a
retired electrical engineer for General Electric. He was a member of First
Baptist Church of Tavares. He was a Rotarian. Survivors: wife, Alice E.; son,
Arthur E., Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Barbara Martin, Atlanta; brothers, Carl W.,
Petoskey, Mich., Harold V., Grand Rapids, Mich.; one grandson. Harden-Pauli
Funeral Home, Eustis.
