Abigail Tyler Avery (Abby)  is the wife of Henry Bennett - Abbie apparently was her


nickname.  Abby is the daughter of Christopher Avery (1781-1837) and Olive Tyler 

(1784-1843)
Abigail Tyler Avery married Henry Bennett September 17, 1838 in Plainfield, 

Connecticut

1870 US Census Ohio.  Henry Bennett, age 56 born Connecticut.  Abby Bennett, age
50, 

born Connecticut.  Hettie Bennett, age 18 born Ohio. Dwight Bennett, age 20, born 

Ohio.  Abby Bennett, age 10, born Ohio.

1880 US Census the family are living in	Hartford, Trumbull, Ohio
Henry, age 68, Abbie age 61, Hetta/Hettie age 27, Abbie age 19

Their children are:
George Bennett born Aug. 06, 1839 and died abt. 1839 in Hartford, Ohio
Christopher Avery Bennett born Oct. 22, 1842 in Hartford, Ohio.  Died Jan. 10, 1863


in Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Died in field hospital in army union soldier
Mary Hannah Bennett born Jan. 19, 1844 married Orvis D. Wood
Henry Wolcott Bennett born June 10, 1846 in Hartford, Ohio.  Died about 1846 in 

Hartford, Ohio
Dwight Bennett born April 01, 1850. Dwight married Sarah Bebee>
Henrietta (Hettie) Bennett born March 24, 1852
Abbie Avery Bennett born November 25, 1862
