Wilbur A. Cline Dies Following Long Illness

Wilbur A. Cline, 78, resident of this community for 20 years, died Sunday at the
Charlevoix hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been in
failing health for several years.

Funeral services were held at the Christ Episcopal church Tuesday morning with
the Rev. Carl F. Hoch officiating. Burial was in Brookside cemetery.

Born in Peru, Ind., Sept. 13, 1873, Mr. Cline was married to the former Calla E.
Wilbur in Charlevoix in 1909. They had resided in Chicago where he was a realtor
and had returned here in recent years to make their home. He was a member of the
Episcopal church.

Surviving are his wife and a daughter, Helen Rose Cline of New York City. A son,
Sgt. George O. Cline, preceded him in death in 1943 while serving with the U S.
Air Force.
