Laura Brown was born November 05, 1901 in Charlevoix, the daughter of Benjamin
Brown (1875-1964) and Nona Combs (died 1977). She graduated from Charlevoix High
School and attended the Cleary Business College.

Laura Brown married Frank Courier in 1923 in Petoskey, Michigan.

Mrs. Courier was former president and manager of Brown Motors in Charlevoix.
