He was born August 24, 1922 in Charlevoix, MI, son of the late Charles and Bessie Dean. Mr. Dean served his country in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He was a member of the Dexter, Michigan American Legion Post, and was a member of the 1st Congregational Church of Ann Arbor. Survivors include his children, Ted, Deanna and Cathy; grandchildren, Megan and Chelsea; his sister, Virginia Brady; and his dear friends, Ted and Elaine Palmer. His beloved wife Jean preceded him in death in 2002. Memorial Service has been held and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory may be made to either the American Heart Association, Memorial and Tributes Program, Dept 77- 3968, Chicago, IL 60678 or to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
