Rena Edwards

Rcna Edwards, 100, of Charlevoix, died June 18. 1999 at Bortz Health Care of
Petoskey. Services were held Monday, June 21 at the United Methodist Church in
Charlevoix, The Rev. Dak P. Ostema officiated. Burial will be in Brookside
Cemetery, Charlevoix.

Mrs, Edwards was born April 30, 1899 in Charlevoix, the daughter of LeRoy and
Nora (Cooper) Cram. She graduated from Charkvoix High School in 1916 and then
from Charlevoix County Normal School in 1917. She taught at area schools until
1919. On Dec, 10, 1919, she married Arthur Edwards in Charlevoix. He preceded
her in death on Oct. 23, 1986. She was a member of the Charlevoix United
Methodist Church.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by: grandson Larry Edwards of Jensen Beach, Fla,;
granddaughter Meri Lyn and her husband, Martin Bennett, of Charlevoix;
greatgrandchildren, Branden Kanoff and Krisra Kanoff of Charlevoix, and Justin
Edwards of Florida; brother, William Brown of Fort Myers, Fla.; daughter-in-law,
Eileen Edwards of Charlevoix.

She was also preceded in death by two sons. Richard and Louis Edwards. Memorial
contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Charlevoix.
