GEORGE HERRINGTON DIED LAST THURSDAY

Death Followed Illness of About Seven Weeks.

Rev. W. H. Rauch, pastor of the Baptist church, conducted funeral services held
under the auspices of the I. 0. 0. F. last Saturday afternoon for George
Herrington, who died last Thursday morning at the home of his sister-in-law,
Mrs. Hazel Raby, following an illness of several weeks. '

Deceased was 53 years of age at the time of death. He was born December 12,
1875, in Antrim county. At an early age he moved with his parents to Norwood.
Later he resided in Lorraine, Ohio, for a period of five years, coming to
Charlevoix in 1914.

On February 6, 1915, Mr. Herring-ton was married to Mrs. Frances Lauderville,
who survives him. Other surviving relatives are his aged father, three brothers,
Nelson and John of Flint, Mich., and Henry of Detroit, also a sister, Mrs. Floyd
Cummings of Flint.
