Mae Hayes married Barney S. Herrington Nov. 23, 1888 at Allegan Michigan.  
Her death certificate states she was born Mach 12, 1869 and not 1868 as is on
her tombstone.  Mae died November 2, 1916 at Petoskey, Michigan.

OBITUARY
DIED THURSDAY FROM EFFECTS OF DISEASE

Friends Pay Last Respects to Mrs. Barney Harrington, Saturday.

Mrs. Barney Harrington, whose illness we mentioned in last week's issue, died in
the Reycraft hospital Thursday night following an operation made necessary by
the effects of phlebetis of the veins, from which Mrs. Harrington had suffered
for many weeks. Her death was not unexpected as the nature and progress of the
disease left little grounds for hope of recovery.

The body was brought to Charlevoix, Friday, and the funeral was held from her
home Saturday morning, Rev. Lloyd C. Vinyard officiating. Pall bearers were
selected from the membership of the Loyal Order of Moose of which the deceased
was a member. The body was taken to Brookside cemetery for burial.
