Elizabeth Hodgson

Private family services for a former summer resident, Mrs. Elizabeth G. Hodgson,
77, were held at the Winchester Funeral Home. The Rev. Philip G. Schairbaum of
the First Congregational Church officiated. Interment was in Brookside Cemetery.

Mrs. Hodgson died Thursday, Oct. 11, at the family home in Mt. Dora, Fla.

Born in Bay City Dec. 2, 1907, the former Elizabeth G. Chisholm was graduated
from the University of Michigan in 1929. In 1930 she was married to Raymond J.
Hodgson. They made their home in Grosse Pointe Woods. She was active in the
Trowel Garden Club of Grosse Pointe and for many years was a director of the
Michigan Federation of Garden Clubs. They had summered in Charlevoix since 1970
and in recent years had made Mt. Dora, Fla., their permanent home.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. of Mt. Dora, Fla.; a son, Richard M.
of Charlevoix; three grandsons and a sister, Mrs. William (Lyla) Foster of
Cincinnati, Ohio.
