Madora L. Jones


Madora Luella schoonover was born Dec. 19, 1861, in Erie County New York, the
daughter of Hezekiah Schoonover and Hannah Wood.
Madora Luella Schoonover married Charles T. Jones April 10, 1883.
Madora Jones died 18 Nov 1947 at Charlevoix Hospital, Charlevoix, MI

OBITUARY
Mrs. Madora Jones Rites Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. Madora Jones, 85, widow of Charles T. Jones, 
who died Tuesday at the Charlevoix Hospital, will be held at the See 
Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Thursday.

Rev. Gaylord Howell will officiate. Burial will be in the Brookside 
cemetery. Mrs. Jones had been in failing health for the last 18 months and a
patient at the hospital for a week.

Born in Erie county, N. Y., on Dec. 19, 1861, Madora Schoonover was married to
Mr. Jones April 10, 1883. They came to Montmorency county and lived there until
1906 when they moved to Boyne City. In 1925 they came to farm in Marion township
and about six years ago moved to Charlevoix. Mr. Jones died in April, 1932.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the O. E. S. and the Methodist church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mildred of this city; a son, Omer C., of Chicago
and one grandson.
