Katerina Krchak

Katerina Janas was born in czechoslovakia November 25, 1885.
She came to Toledo, Ohio at the age of twenty. 
Katerina Janas married John Krchak in 1907 and they came to Marion Township,
Charlevoix County in 1912.
Her husband, John Krchak (June 12, 1878-1957), preceded her in death in 1957.


Mrs. John Krchak is the mother of thirteen children:
01. Charles Krchak

02. Emil Krchak - married Dorothy. Emil (abt. june 29, 1918 - june 1, 2001)

03. John M. Krchak (1917-).  Married Helen Ciochocki on Sept. 28, 1940. John is
Buried McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, Illinois. Helen died Dec. 2002
in Crystal Lake, Illinois, age 86.  Born abt. 1916

04. Frank Kenneth Krchak (Jan. 16, 1923- Oct. 26,2004) Married Mary Lou Huth
Feb. 18, 1950. Buried McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, Illinois

05. Ann Krchak (Mrs. Lloyd Anderson)

06. Eva Louise Krchak (Mrs. Eldred Ostrum)- (Feb. 03,1911- sept. 29, 1999). 	Eva
was born In Toledo, Ohio.  She married Eldred Delos Ostrum on 	Oct. 25, 1930 	in
Charlevoix,Michigan.  He preceded her in death on May 	25,1983.Buried Brookside
Cemetery, Charlevoix, Michigan.

07. Rose C. Krchak (Mrs. Raymond E. Kruse)- (March 23, 1912 - June 10,1993)
    Rose married Raymond E. Kruse on June 28, 1934 in Illinois. 

08. Helen Krchak (Mrs.Albert Fanter) (Oct. 09, 1913 -)  Helen married Albert   
 Fanter on July 02, 1938 at Crystal Lake, Illinois. Albert Fanter died       
April 01, 1959. 

09. Sophia Krchak (Mrs. Clifford James Towne) (abt. 1909-)

10. Sylvia Krchak (Mrs. Russell VanWinkle (Oct 05, 1919 - Dec. 18, 1995). Sylvia
Krchak Vanwinkle died in Los Angeles County. Three children: Richard Lawrence
Vanwinkle born Sept. 07, 1945 in Los Angeles, Michael Russell Vanwinkle born
March 04, 1954 in Los Angeles, Thomas Vincent Vanwinkle born June 14, 1955 in
Los Angeles

11. Georgia Krchak (Mrs. Keith R. Bruhl) Georgia married Keith R. Bruhl in
October 1946 in Charlevoix. - Keith was born 1922 and died Feb. 25, 1986 in
Falls Church, Virginia - buried Arlington National Cemetery Feb. 28, 1986)

13. Katherine (Katie) Krchak (Mrs. Adams)
