Livingston was born April 10, 1870 in Gray County, Ontario, Canada Daniel G. Livingston died february 1, 1911 in Charlevoix, Michigan Mary Anne Lang was born May 21, 1867 in Thorne, Canada, the daughtr of Robert E. Lang and Ellen Summerville. Mary Anne married daniel G. Livingston on June 8, 1897 and he died February 1, 1911. Mary Anne Lang Livingston married James MGeagh (born Feb. 21, 1868) on February 1913. Mary Anne died on December 30, 1948. __________________________________________________________________________ OBITUARY Courtesy Charlevoix Library Obituaries Daniel G. Livingston DIES AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS Dan G. Livingston Fails to Survive an Opertion Performed Yesterday. Dan G. Livingson died at his home in this city this morning from lipus meningitis. Mr. Livingston had only been confined to the house since Sunday. Yesterday afternoon an operation was performed by Drs. Armstrong, Theilen, Wilkinson, as the last hope but their efforts were in vain and at six o'clock the suffering was ended. Mr. Livingston was born in Canada in 1870 and came to this county over twenty years ago. During nearly all of his residence in this city he has been a valued employee of the Charlevoix Lumber Company. He leaves a wife and one daughter besides a host of friends in this city The funeral will be held Friday at ten o'clock a.m., at the Congregational church under the auspices of the Knights of Pythias, of which he was a valued member. ________________________________________________________________________ OBITUARY Courtesy Charlevoix Library Obituaries Mary Anne McGeagh Funeral Services for Mrs. McGeagh Held Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. James McGeagh, 81, who died unexpectedly at her home Thursday, were held at the See Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Sunday with Rev. Jackson E. Turner officiating. Burial was in Brookside cemetery. Born in Thorne, Canada, on May 21, 1867, the former Mary Ann Lang came to Clare with her parents when she was 21. About a year later she came to Charlevoix and on June 8, 1897 was married to Daniel G. Livingston who preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1911. In February, 1913, she was married to Mr. McGeagh. She had operated a summer boarding and rooming house at 309 E. Dixon ave., for about 30 years. She was a member of the Congregational church, the Eastern Star and Rebekah lodges. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl A. Paulson and two grandchildren, Janet and Mary Ann of Cadillac; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth McClung of Clare, and Mrs. Frank Spealman of Grass Valley, Calif., and a brother, Harry Lang of St. Petersburg, Fla.
