Mrs. Lawrence McClanaghan

Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence E. McClanaghan, 55, who died unexpectedly at
her Eveline township home July 9, were held recently at the Winchester Funeral
Home. The Rev. Raymond H. Giffin of the First Congregational Church officiated.

Born in North Dakota Oct. 12, 1919, the former Alice Pedersen came to Charlevoix
with her parents as a child. She attended the Charlevoix Schools prior to her
marriage to Mr. McClanaghan in 1937. They always made their home here.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, William V., of Charlevoix;
three grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Pedersen of Pleasanton, Tex., and two
sisters, Mrs. Maurice Dixon of Charlevoix and Mrs. John Boughton of Nashville, Mich.
