Anna Williams was born in Marion township on June 28, 1868, and spent her whole life in that community. On December 28, 1887, she married George McMulkin, who preceded her in death in March, 1933. Mr. McMulkin for many years was employed at the Ironton Iron Works and later at the Charlevoix county nursery. For about 20 years they spent the winter months in Florida. Mrs. McMulkin was a member of the Macabees lodge for many years and a member of the Congregational church at Ironton. Surviving are one son, Harold, of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Tumath, of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Sam Straw, of Charlevoix; three brothers, Willis, of Sioux Lookout, Manitoba, Can., Pierce, of Zephyr Hills, Fla., and Walter, of Ironton, three uncles, Nat Burns, of Plainwell and George Burns and Ed Burns, of this city. Funeral services will be held at the See Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. Donald R. Evans officiating. Interment will be at the Brookside cemetery.
