Harrison Brown Miller was born Nov. 22, 1838 in, Westchester, New York.
Harrison Miller died Mar. 14, 1931 in Frankfort.

FORMER RESIDENT BURIED HERE WEDNESDAY


Masonic Services for Harrison Miller, Who Died Monday at Frankfort

Masonic funeral services were held at Brookside chapel at 11 :30 Wednesday
morning for Capt. Harrison "Tip" Miller, well known former local resident, who
died Monday afternoon at his home in Frankfort.

Mr. Miller was for many years captain of the coast guard station at Beaver
Island, later being transferred to Point Betsy, near Frankfort. He was 97 years
of age.

Mr. Miller was one of the oldest Masons in Michigan. He joined Charlevoix lodge
in 1877 and had been a life member since 1917.
