Andrew Miller

Funeral services for Andrew M. Miller, 95, who died Sunday at the Grandvue
Medical Care Facility where he had been a patient for a week, will be held at
the Community Church of God at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. William P. Seibert,
pastor of the church, and the Rev. Donald Schorsch of the Assembly of God Church
will officiate. Interment will be in Brookside cemetery.

Born in Keystone, Wells County, Ind., March 13, 1882, Mr. Miller was employed by
the Packard Motor Co. of Detroit and served in the U.S. Army during World War I
before coming to northern Michigan in 1931 to settle on a farm near here. Since
his retirement he had resided at 206 W. Upright ave. In 1904 he was married to
the former Pearl Moe who preceded him in death in 1933. In 1947 he married the
former Mrs. Ada Wood who died in 1963. He was a member of the Community Church
of God.

He is survived by a son, Howard R. Miller of New Haven, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs.
Velma Smith of Charlevoix; 11 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Creta Dolby of Sumner, Ind.

Friends may meet the family at the Winchester Funeral Home from 2 until 5 and 7
until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
