OBITUARY
Dr. W. W. Mitchell, Former Resident Dies in Florida

News of the death of Dr. William W. Mitchell, 70, at his home in Miami Beach,
Fla., Thursday, has been received here. He had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Miami Beach.

Born near Ironton July 2, 1891, Dr. Mitchell was graduated from the Charlevoix
high school and the Univesity of Michigan School of Dentistry. He returned here
to open a practice, leaving here about 1926 to open a winter practice in the
Miami area of Florida. He moved to Florida in the late 1930's and practiced in
Miami Beach until his retirement because of ill health. Until recent years he
maintained his for mer Park ave. home here.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Hooper; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Radney of
Miami; a son, William of San Francisco; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs.
William Coleman of Hastings.
