DEATH TAKES BELOVED LOCAL WOMAN TUESDAY
Mrs. Joe Moore Died at Charlevoix Hospital—Funeral Friday

Charlevoix was saddened Tuesday by the death of Mrs. Joe Moore, who passed away
at 5 o'clock that afternoon at the Charlevoix hospital.

Mrs. Moore had been ill for two years with stomach trouble. Her condition had
gradually become more serious and for some time it had been known there was no
help for her. Regardless, her passing was a shock to her family and a host of
friends.

Anna Couzens was born June 9, 1883, at Detroit. She came with her parents to
Ironton at the age of two years, and had resided there and at Charlevoix since
that time. Her father was bookkeeper at the old Ironton Iron Works.

She was married about 26 years ago to Herbert Ager, who died two years later. A
daughter, now Mrs. Gordon Todd, was born to this union. On October 10, 1922, she
was married to Joe Moore of this city, who survives, together with a son
Herbert, age five years.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist
church. Rev. John E. Lockyer officiating. Interment will be at Brookside.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Rebekah lodge.
