Obituary
Peggy Carey Northway

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Carey Northway, 20, who died Thursday at the
University Hospital in Ann Arbor, were held Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church.
The Rev. Robert C. Ames, vicar of the church and Rev. Paul Adkins of Saginaw
officiated. Interment was in Brookside cemetery.

The former Peggy Carey was born in Detroit Oct. 21, 1956, and came here from
Livonia in 1958. In 1974 she was graduated from the Charlevoix High School where
she had been Homecoming Queen the fall of 1973. She had completed her first
years at the University of Michigan School of Nursing when it was found she had
leukemia. On Aug. 8,1976, she was married to Thomas Northway at Saginaw. They
lived in Ann Arbor. She attended Christ Episcopal Church here.
