Y., July 18, 1852, and departed from this life May 2, 1936, at the age of 83 years 9 months and 14 days. He was united in marriage at St. Ignace, to Francis Brabt in the year 1883. He was a member of the local order of Odd Fellows. Besides a host of relatives and friends he leaves to mourn their loss, two sons, Harvey, of Charlevoix, and Milton, of Flint and two daughters, Mrs. Francis Herrington and Mrs. Hazel Raby, both of Charlevoix. OBITUARY #2 DEATH TAKES JULIUS O'BRIEN, A PIONEER Charlevoix Resident Succumbed Saturday After Brief Illness Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the See funeral home for, Julius O'Brien, 83, Charlevoix county pioneer, who died at 2 o'clock Saturday, May 2. Rev. W. H. Rauch officiated an interment was at Brookside ceme tery. Deceased was born in Ellensburg, N. Y., July 18, 1852, the son of Frank and Mary O'Brien. He came here with his family when a young man, numbering among the early settlers of the county. He was married in 1883 at St. Ignace to Frances Brabt. He was a member of the local I. O. O. F. Surviving besides a host of relatives and friends, two sons, Harvey, of Charlevoix, and Milton, of Flint; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Herrington and Mrs. Hazel Raby, of Charlevoix.
