Mortimer Fredrick Orvis was born February 06, 1893 in Eveline Township,
Charlevoix, Michigan.
Mortimer is the son of William Orvis, born Pennsylvania,  and Carrie E. Groger
(1852-1917), born Lansing, Michigan.
married Lena May on sept. 06, 1917 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Lena is the
daughter of Phillips May and Martha Reid.
Mortimer married Rose Zeitler March 07, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan.  Rose is the
daughter of Charles Zeitler and Theresa Stertsinger
