NOTE:
Ralph P. Palmer is not buried on Beaver Island as stated in his obituary.  He is
buried in Brookside Cemetery. Also he was born in 1893 and not 1894 as stated in
his obituary.

OBITUARY
Charlevoix Courier
ILL Only Two Months; Was World War I Vet

Ralph Palmer, 51, resident of Beaver Island since returning from overseas duty
in World War I, died at the Munson hospital, Traverse City on Sunday, March 4,
after an illness of two months.

Mr. Palmer was born at North port on January 10, 1894, and spent his boyhood in
that community. After serving overseas with the army in World War I he came to
Beaver Island to make his home.

Surviving are his father, Jerry Palmer, of Beaver Island; three sisters and two
brothers.
Funeral services were held in Traverse City on 
Wednesday. The body was brought to Charlevoix and 
placed in the vault. Interment will be at Beaver Island in 
the spring.
