Patterson Birth: Jan. 19, 1882, Ramona Park, Kalamazoo County, Michigan Death: Jul. 20, 1946, Antrim County, Michigan Obituary Charlevoix Courier July 24, 1946 BANKS TOWNSHIP RESIDENT DIED SATURDAY EVENING George E. Patterson, 64, died at his home in Banks township, Antrim county, late Saturday evening. He had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services were held at the See Funeral home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Bert Gates, Jr. of Alba, officiating. Interment was in the Brookside cemetery. Mr. Patterson was born in Kalamazoo county Jan. 19, 1882. He was married to Hattie E. Miller in May, 1909 and they resided in southern Michigan until coming to this community in 1932. Mrs. Patterson preceded him in death Nov. 11, 1945. Deceased is survived by a son, James, of Charlevoix; a daughter, Mrs. John Sharrow, of Van Dyke; a brother, who resides at Galesburg, and five grandchildren. =============================================================== Hattie Elizabeth Miller Patterson Birth: Aug. 8, 1868, Bronson, Branch County, Michigan Death: 1945, Michigan Obituary Mrs. Hattie E. Patterson Mrs. Hattie E. Patterson, 77. wife of George Patterson, Marion township farmer, died at her home on Tuesday following a long illness. Funeral services were held at the See Funeral Home at two o'clock Friday afternoon with the Rev. V. D. Wood officiating. Burial was in the Bookside cemetery. Hattie Elizabeth Miller was born at Bronson. Branch county, Michigan, on August 8, 1868. In May, 1909, she married George Patterson and they resided in southern Michigan until coming to Marion township in 1932. Surviving besides her husband are one son, James, of Charlevoix, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Poulson, of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Zoe Sharrow, of Detroit; six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
