MRS. OLIVER SCHAFFER IS TAKEN BY DEATH SUNDAY

Funeral for Well Known Ironton Woman Held Here Wednesday

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. R. Parker from the See funeral home
at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Oliver Schaffer, 75, well known
Ironton woman, whose death occurred Sunday, May 23. Burial was at Brookside
cemetery.

Mrs. Schaffer, a long-time resident of Ironton, had been active until retiring
Saturday evening, although in ill health for some time.

Surviving her are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Minerva Harwood, of Atwood,
and Mrs. Zella Hutzler, of this city; also four brothers and three sisters,
eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Marriages
1. Lora Timothy Mabie (1850-1922)
Married Nov. 26, 1876 at Central Lake, Antrim County. Phoebe was age 15.
Divorced.

2. George Harvey (1853-1903)
Married Dec. 6, 1893 at Charlevoix. They were divorced May 8, 1900 at
Charlevoix. Phoebe filed - complaint was cruelty.

3. Aloise "Oliver" Schaffer(1862-1937)
Married July 27, 1901 at East Jordan, Michig
