OLIVER SCHAFFER SUCCUMBED HERE THURSDAY

Was Life-Long Resident of Ironton District—Funeral Saturday

Oliver Schaffer, 74, a life-long resident of Ironton, died Thursday - June 3, at
Charlevoix Hospital, following an illness of 18 months.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday from the See funeral home,
and interment was at Brookside cemetery beside his wife, who preceded him in
death by only 11 days.

Mr. Schaffer had resided on the family homestead near Ironton practically all
his life. He is survived by a sister and two brothers, two stepdaughters, and
several nieces and nephews

Oliver Schaffer married Mrs. Phoebe B. Harvey July 27, 1901 in East Jordan, MI.
