Funeral services were held at the See Funeral Home Sunday with the Rev. L. L. Lewis officiating. Burial was in Brookside cemetery. Born in Hayes township March 9, 1902, the former Sylvia Baker was married to Edward Stinson March 12, 1920. She was a practical nurse and had been employed here and in Petoskey. She was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are seven children, T/Sgt. Edward stationed at an airbase in Florida, Cpl. Richard of Fort Custer, Pfc.
