April 23, 1973

THORP — Thomas Jefferson Thorp, aged 100, of 2327 Arder SW, Wyoming, passed away
Saturday. Surviving are; four daughters, Mrs. Carl (Irene) Sanborn, Mrs. Alman
(Lottie) Dotts, Mrs. Harold (Georget-ta) Terpstra, all of Wyoming. Mrs.
Vergaline Pachica of Grand Rapids; one son, Eugene Chalmer of Wyoming; 12
grandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several
neces and nephews. Mr. Thorp reposes at the Creston Mortuary, 1330 Plainfield NE
where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. William E. Foster of
Emmanuel Wesleyan Church officiating. Committal services will be held at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix. Friends may meet the family at the
chapel 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
