Lottie married James Tumath  on November 23, 1905 at Ironton, MI
Lottie died February 8, 1961 in South Arm Township, Charlevoix County, MI

Mrs. Lottie Tumath, Pioneer Resident Dies at Grandvue

Mrs. Lottie Tumath, 83, pioneer resident of the Charlevoix county, died early
Wednesday at Grandvue Medical Facility near East Jordan where she had been a
patient for three months. She had been in failing health for some time.

Funeral services will be held at the Winchester funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday
with the Reverend James P. Sherman officiating.  Burial will be in Brookside
cemetery.

Bom in Eveline township Jan. 20, 1878, the former Lottie Williams was married to
James Tumath in 1905. They made their home at Ironton. Mr. Tumath preceded her
in death in 1931. Later she was employed at the Helen Newberry Dormitory on the
campus at the University of Michigan for 20 years. Since her retirement she had
divided her time between her Ironton home and her daughters. She attended the
Ironton Congregational church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Kathryn) Neebes of Davison and Miss
Eleanor Tumath of Grand Rapids; two grandsons and a sister, Mrs. Sam Straw of
Charlevoix.
