B. Ward Funeral services for Mrs. E. B. Ward. 96, former resident who died Tuesday in Jackson after a long illness, will be held at the See Funeral Home here at 2 p m. Friday with the Rev. George E. Whitten officiating. Burial will be In Brookside cemetery. Born in Canada in Nov. 13, 1864, the former Annie Meggison came to this community with her family as ayoung woman. In 1893 she was married to Mr Ward who precedrd her in death in August 1922. For many years she had spent the winter months in Jackson with her sisters. the Misses Grace and Ella Meggison. returning| here for the summer. As a young matron she had been active in the Methodist church. She ia survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frederick G. Beattie of Detroit; three sisters, the Misses Meggison with whom she had made her home for many years and Mrs. Leslie Everts of this city; three brothers, Albert of Chicago.
