Margaret Gordon Whitley died in Chicago, Illinois January 22, 1913.

OBITUARY
DEATH OF PIONEER

Mrs. Margaret Whitley of This City Dies in Chicago January 22.

Mrs. Margaret Whitley, aged 79, an old resident of Charlevoix died in Chicago,
January 22, where she had gone on a visit to her daughter the first of the month.
Mrs. Whitley was one of the oldest residents of this city having came here with
her husband in 1882, and with the exception of a few years spent on the farm,
residing here since. She was the mother of a large family of which seven
survive, two sons, James of Boyne City, Thomas of East Jordan and five
daughters, Mrs. Livingston of Canada, Mrs. William Dougherty of Boyne City, Mrs.
Koglin and Mrs. Paulson of Chicago and Mrs. John W. Kirby of this city.

The body was brought here for burial, the funeral being held from the Methodist
church Saturday, Rev. Quinton Walker 
officiating.
