Wilkinson, which occurred last Monday evening, August 20th, at the home of her son, Dr. Frank H. Wilkinson, 409 Dixon Avenue, following a long Illness of more than a year, during the past three months of which she had been confined to her bed. Sarah Marshall was born In Painsville, Ohio, February 20, 1850. Her early life was spent in the place of her birth, where she was married to Byron P. Wilkinson, March 12, 1873. One year later, Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson removed to Banks township, Antrim county. Here, they were pioneers. In the summer of 1904, they took up their residence at Charlevoix, where they have since lived. Six children were born to them—one dying in infancy. There are left to remember her good life, her husband, Byron P. Wilkinson, her four sons; Dr. Allan M., of Douglas, Aria.; Dr. Frank H., of this city! James B., of Detroit; and Charles E., of Lansing, and one daughter, Mrs. Roxana Morrow, of Bellaire. There are also many relatives and friends. Mrs. Wilkinson has been a member of the church since she was fifteen years of age and since closely identified with every good work. She united with the local Methodist church, in January, 1907. during the pastorate of Rev. R. A. Wright. She had an extensive service in the Women's Tcmperance Union and this organization and her church had a large place in her heart. She was a kind and loving wife, a wonderful mother and a real friend to all who knew her. The going out of this splendid wife, mother and friend will be a real loss to all, but, for her can be truly said, "For me to live In Christ and to die is gain." The funeral services will be held next Saturday morning, at ten o'clock, at the home of Dr. Frank II. Wilkinson, 409 Dixon Avenue.
