Bay City News, Bay City MI, January 28, 1897
Died at the home of Her Daughter in Cheboygan

Mrs. A. LaRoche, wife of the late Alex LaRoche, who left here several months ago 
to visit her daughter, Mrs. Edward Witherspoon, of Cheboygan, died last night. A 
message bearing the news of her death was received by friends residing here, who 
were notified that the remains would be brought to this city for interment. The 
cause of her death was not stated. The funeral will probably take place from the 
residence of Wm. M. Green, Linn Street, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
