TEAGAN, RALPH S.  Funeral services for Ralph S. Teagan 86, who died Friday, 
August 18, 1995 at his home in Cheboygan will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at 
the Nordman Funeral Home.  Rev. Jeff Dinner will officiate.  The family will 
receive callers at the Nordman Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta, Ohio.  There will be a 
Masonic memorial service this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Nordman Funeral Home 
under the auspices of the Cheboygan Lodge F&AM No. 283.
  He was born in Detroit December 28, 1908, the son of William and Jean 
(Sotherland) Teagan.  He married the former Carlotta Miles in 1947 in Bowling 
Green, Ohio.  They moved to the Cheboygan area in 1962 and she preceded him in 
death April 22, 1989.  Mr. Teagan managed the Miles Lumberyard in Delta, Ohio 
before moving to Cheboygan where he was employed by the First of America Bank 
in both Cheboygan and Indian River.  He was a veteran of World War II serving 
in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1942 until 1945 and was a member of the 
Cheboygan Lodge No. 283 Free and Accepted Masons.
  He is survived by several nephews and nieces Robert and Janice Baers of 
Cheboygan and Janet and Fred Neubauer of Troy, sister-in-law Jean Loomis of 
Owosso, a brother-in-law Don Miles and wife Edie of Cheboygan and many great 
and great-great nieces and nephews.  The family asks that those wishing to 
give memorials remember the Hospice of the Straits or the charity of their 
choice.
