Russell Elmer McLaughlin, born Aug 24, 1895, died Oct. 22, 1979.  Russell 
worked for Durocher on a dredge barge helping to build the Mackinaw Bridge.  
He was a skilled machinist and blacksmith.  He married Eva Mae Day Aug. 30, 
1923.
