IRONWOOD DAILY GLOBE November 24, 1919
SAULT STE MARIE, MICH. - Earl Michelson, the 16 year old boy who shot and 
killed his playmate, Peter Teeple, 13 years old, at Raco, has been given the 
first bath, haircut and clean clothes that it is believed he ever had in his 
life.  Under Sheriff Arza Swart is the good samaritan who feels that the 
county has a duty to its wards which makes it incumbent upon him to see that 
the guests at the jail are given at least an opportunity to put on a good 
front.
