George Cherrzesie Thurston; B. Feb. 1837; D. 09 Nov 1926

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran; Volunteered 18 May, 1861.  Enlisted in Co. "A", 23rd Ohio 
Infantry, 11 June, 1861  Mustered out, 11 June, 1864.  Promoted to Corporal, 30 
Dec, 1862.  George is buried in the "Old" section, Blk., 2, Lot 18.
