Clare Sentinel, January 19, 1972
William Earl Anderson, 74, of Clare passed away at the Clare Osteopathic 
Hospital Friday, January 7.  He had been in ill health for three years.

He was born June 24, 1897 in Dover, the son of William and Elizabeth Huff 
Anderson.

He was a truck driver for Buick Motor Company in Flint, retiring in 1960 and 
had resided in Clare for the past seven months, following 32 years in Flint.

Surviving are two sons, William K. Anderson of Lansing, and Alan D. Anderson 
of Grand Rapids, four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one brother, Bert 
Anderson of Lansing, one sister Mrs. Mable Tomaszewski of Harrison, nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 10 from the Stephenson-Doherty 
Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Gray officiating and burial in Cherry 
Grove Cemetery.
