Naomi G. Allen, age 85, of Clare, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998 at
Tendercare of Clare.  She was born August 23, 1913, in Coleman.  She
married Dewey W. Allen in 1947 in Gaylord. and he preceded her in death
on Nov. 21, 1989.
     Naomi had lived all of her life in the Clare area and had worked as
a waitress prior to her retirement.
     Mrs. Allen is survived by her brothers-in-law, Melvin and Reynard
"Tony" Allen and sisters-in-law, Cherlie Duriga and Bonita West-Wood and
several neices and nephews.
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare with Pastor Lonnie Severance
officiating.  Burial was in Cherrry Grove Cemetery.
