    Robert E. Allen:  A Memorial Service will be held for Robert E.
Allen, formerly of Clare, on Saturday, April 24, at 11:30 a.m.  Bob was
born and raised in Clare, and had been the office manager for Allen
Insurance Agency for 25 years.  He was very active in the Clare Christ
Fellowship, the Clare VFW and other service organization.
     The memorial will take place at the new building-in-progress of
Clare Christ Fellowship, on Colonville Road just east of Grant Road, 
weather permitting.  Pastor Gary Mann will be officiating.  In case of
inclement weather, the service will be held at the First Baptist Church
in Clare.  Following, a luncheon will be served at Baptist Church.
     Robert (Bob) E. died February 12 at his home in Mesa, AZ.  He is
survived by his wife Marcia and his four children - Lea (Linda) and Dave
Richardson of Beaverton, Tom Allen of Portland Or., Nancy Allen of
Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Linda Yellin of Farmington Hills, Mi.  4
grandchildren, Mike and Tacy Richardson of Lake Linden, Mark Richardson
of Beaverton & Chrystal Allen of portland and Jennifer Yellin of
Farmington Hills and 1 great grandchild, Max Richardson.  Nephews- Bob
and Tim Allen of Clare.
