Obituary from the Clare County (Michigan) June 6, 200l

Arnold L. Thompson, Sr., age 90 of St. Louis, formerly of the
Clare-Farwell area, passed away, Sunday, June 3. 2001 in Alma. Arnold
was born the son of Frank and Lavina (Murphy) Thompson on September 21,
1910 in Hersey. Arnold married he former Oleta Pulcifer on February l6,
1933 in Farwell. He was preceded in death by his wife Oleta, on August
16, 1997. Arnold had worked as a mason in the building trade. Arnold
had moved to St. Louis in 1995.
Arnold is survived by his sons; Arnold L., Jr., Duane D., Richard
E. Allen, Daniel J. and Donald M.; a sister Nelly Densmore; 18
grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Arnold's final wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held on June 13, 200l at 6:00 pm at the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Clare. Memorials may be made to
the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Clare Congregation. The
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare handled arrangement of the
cremation.
