Clare County Cleaver - 25 November 1999
Walter Harold Bringold, 84, of rural Harrison, passd away sudddenly,
Tuesday, November 16, 1999, while deer hunting.  Walter was born July
23, 1915 in Harrison, the son of Christian and Josephine (Segrist)
Bringold.

Mr. Bringold had resided his entire life in Clare County.  He was
a
member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Harrison and charter member of
the Lake Georege Boosters Club.  Walter graduated from Harrison High
School in 1934.  He was employed by and retired from Michigan Gas
Storage Company and owned and operated his farm in Greenwood Township.
Walter H. Bringold was united in marriage to Dolly Perkins on November
26, 1978.  Mr. Bringold preceded him in death on November 21, 1994.

Surviving are a brogher, John Bringold of Mt. Pleasant, several
nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bringold was also preceded in death by his parents, three
brothers, Emil,Carl and Ervan Bringold and a sister, Flora Heintz.

Visitation was held on Thursday at the Stocking Funeral Home,
Harrison.  Vigil for the deceased was held on Thursday Evening with
Sister Roslyn Nowak presiding.  Mr. Bringold was in state Friday l0:00
a.m. at St. Athanasius Church, Harrison, until Funeral Mass at ll:00
a.m. with Rev. Father Daniel Nowak O.F.M. officiating.  Rite of
Committal followed at Hillcrest Cemetery (Greenwood Township) Harrison,
Michigan.
