Thomas F. Beeson, age 60, passed away on June 30,1998. Mr. Beeson was born on September 23, 1937 in Pana, Illinois. He retired fom Ians Corporation and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was both a past governor and a fellow of DeWitt Lodge #2291, I.O.O. Moose and a ritualist in the Moose Legion #108. Mr. Beeson was an active supporter of the Mason/Holt Eagles and a member of AmVets. He was a good cook and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and gardening. Surviving are: wife, Opal; 5 children, Cheryl Linnondoll, Michael Beeson, Diana Jenks, Melenie Beeson, Rebecca Lehman; beloved step-children, Kristina (Terry) Gardener, Rebecca (Micael)Spurbeck, Robert Root; 17 grandchildren, 2 brohers, Harry (Maxine) Beeson), Delmar Beeson; 3 sisters, Sadie (Tom) Miller, Shirley (Carroll) Hague, Sharon (Tom) Bennet. He was preceded in death by sister, Norma Lebon and brother, Glen Beeson. Funeral services were held Friday, July 3, 1998 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel and memorial service will be held at a later date in Pana, Illinois. The family received friends at the funeral home from 12.00 noon untill 8:00 p.m, Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in memory of Thomas F. Beeson.
