Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Michigan

George Lehman Bailey, 58, of Harrison, passed away suddenly on
Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at his residence.  George was born February
15, 1941, in Harrison, the son of Charles C. and Amy A. (Archey) Bailey.
Mr. Bailey spent most of his life in the Harrison Area.
     Surviving are four sisters, Laura Grover and husband Darrel of
Crystal, Amy Payne and Eileen Cohee, both of Harrison, and Betty Wilder
of Houghton Lake; one brother Charles "Sonny" Bailey, Jr. and wife
Beverly of Harrison; many nieces, nephew, other realtives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Albert "Bud" Gruno,
and two sisters, Helen Long and Naomi Halle.
     Funeral services were held Saturday May l, 1999 at l:00 pm at
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. 
Interment was in the Summerfield Township Cemetery, Harrison, Michigan.
