Jerry A. Blades, age 56, of Harrison, passed away June 26, 1999 at Mid
Michigan Medical Center, Clare from a sudden illness.  Jerry was born
October 14, 1942 in Beaverton.
     He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin.  Jerry worked at the
Beaverton IGA.  He was a member of the 32nd Degree Mason from Lodge 453.
     Surviving are mother Velma Blades of Harrison, sister Marian and
Nick Radokovich of Midland, sister JoAnn and Larry McCulloch of Alden,
sister Berniece and Soloman Horn of Lennon, brother James and Laura
Blades of Flint, sister Joyce Blades of Mason and several nieces and
nephews.
     Jerry was preceded in death by a sister Judy Blades in 194l.
     Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 30, 1999 at l:00 p.m. at
Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan with Rev. David K. Stewart
officiating.  Burial took place at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery.
