Baldwin, age 78 of Lake George, passed away Friday August 21 at his home. He was born the son of Rodath C. and Magie C. (Brown) on Feb. 20, 1920, in Saginaw. He was the beloved husband of Donna A. (Wray) Baldwin whom he married on June 20, 1942, at Michigan Ave. Baptist Church in Saginaw. He was a retired Supervisor at Saginaw Steering Gear, and a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Clare, a Life member of the Pioneer F+A Masonic Lodge #79 of Saginaw, the Elf Kurafeh Shrine Temple of Saginaw, and the Shrine Club in Clare. Rodath is survived by his wife Donna, was the loving father of Donna Wray Baldwin of New York, NY, Elizabeth Anne Baldwin of Grosse Pointe, and Kathy Lynn and Clarence Ralph Charest of Livonia. Also surviving are a sister Gertrude Beckmann of Saginaw, a Grandson Kristopher R. Jones of Livonia and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth A. Baldwin, Margaret Paine, and brother Kenneth C. Baldwin. Memorial services were held on Monday at the Congregational Church of Chrit in Clare at 11:00 am with Rev. Margaret Vredeveld officiating. Arrangements were by Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare. Memorials may be made to the Church or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
